Separate the two tasks

Photography and listing use different parts of your brain. Photograph 30 items in one session; list them in another.

Photo station setup

• Plain background.
• Consistent light — window or clamp lights.
• Phone on tripod at fixed distance.
• Ruler, tags-out surface for clothing.

Photograph in a routine

Same four shots per item, same order. When it's automatic, you're at 30 seconds per item.

Listing session

Sit down with your photos. Run each through Garage Sail's review screen. Batch of 30 in about 15 minutes.

Avoid burnout

Two hours max per session. Fatigue costs listings.
