Primary sources first

Every marketplace claim — fees, policy, API scope, seller-tool availability — cites the marketplace's own current documentation or announcement. When primary sources conflict with older third-party summaries, the primary source wins.

What we won't do

• We don't publish statistics remembered from training data. Every number is verified against a primary source at publication time.
• We don't backdate articles. The published date reflects the first time the article went live. If we cover an earlier event, that date appears separately as coverage date.
• We don't add fake reviews, fake ratings, fake case studies, or fabricated author credentials.

How AI helps

Garage Sail uses AI to draft, restructure, and edit — the same way spellcheck and grammar tools have assisted writers for years. Every article is reviewed by a Garage Sail team member for factual accuracy, tone, and product claims before it publishes. AI assistance is disclosed here rather than on every article.

Updates and corrections

When we learn an article is wrong or outdated, we update it and change the dateModified timestamp. Substantive corrections are called out at the top of the article. We do not silently rewrite history.

Product claims

Every product claim on this site is generated from a single capabilities configuration so pages cannot contradict each other. If a page says a marketplace is supported one way, the pricing, marketplace, and FAQ pages will say the same thing.
